Three ways to lock the Recycle Bin to the Windows 7 taskbar

In Windows 7, the system allows users to lock application shortcuts to the taskbar or start menu due to the presence of the super taskbar. But how do you lock some system shortcuts to the taskbar? Previously we introduced the method of locking the “computer” and any other folders to the taskbar. Today, we will focus on how to lock the recycle bin to the taskbar and clear the last desktop icon!

There are currently three ways to achieve our goal:

First, modify the explorer.exe parameter method:

1. Create A Recycle Bin Shortcut

2. Right-click shortcut - Properties - Target - Enter

%SystemRoot%\\explorer.exe /e, ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E }

3. OK, drag to the taskbar

4. Right click on the desktop - Personalize - change the desktop icon - uncheck the recycle bin

Of course, you You can also download our modified shortcut icon directly. Click here to download

Second, shell method

1. Right click on the desktop - New shortcut

2. Enter explorer.exe

3. Enter Recyle, click Finish

4. Right click - Shortcut - Properties - Target - Replace with the following text:
C:\\Windows\\ Explorer.exe shell: RecycleBinFolder

5. Click the Replace icon - Browse - System32 - shell32.dll - Recycle Bin icon - OK

< Br>

6. Drag and drop to the taskbar

Third, lock to the Jumplists method

Personally think this method is the most convenient and most economical The taskbar space, but seems to only support the Windows 7 version after RC.

Drag and drop the recycle bin icon directly to the taskbar My Documents or any Explorer icon.
