How does Win8 set up a way to connect to a wireless network

Win8 sets the way to connect to the wireless network as follows:
Scenario 1:
1, ensure that the computer has a wireless network card, and the driver of the wireless network card is installed correctly and is turned on.
2, wireless router or wireless network environment is normal.
3, find the network icon on the desktop. Right click and select "Properties".

4.“Select “Set up a new connection or network" in the Network and Sharing Center”.

5. Select “Manually connect to the wireless network” and click “Next” to check if the wireless network card is normal or disabled.

6. In the input box, fill in the “network name” (this should fill in the SSID of the wireless network), and select the correct “security type” according to the encryption method of the actual wireless network. “Automatically launch this connection> Select whether to check according to actual needs. For network environments with hidden SSIDs, you need to check “Also connect even if the network is not broadcasting”. Click ““Next”” when you are done.

Note: In addition to "no authentication (open)", select the other "security type" will automatically check the "automatically start this connection" by default.

7. Click on “Change Connection Settings”View.

8. At this point, you can see that the SSID of the wireless network is consistent with the network name. Therefore, the network name must be set to SSID.

Scenario 2:
1. Click the network connection icon in the lower right corner.

2. At this time, the currently found network connection will be listed on the right side of the screen. Select the network you want to connect to and click.

3. Select “Connect”.

4. After entering the password, click Next.

5. Select the network environment according to the actual network conditions.

6. The connection is successful.

Note: This method cannot set the password security type and encryption type. If there is a special encryption method in the router, you need to use the method in scheme one to set it.
