Win8 headphones have no sound?

If you encounter no sound problems in Win8, you can solve the problem as follows:
First, try to download a new driver. See How to find the hardware driver for instructions on finding a driver.
If the driver cannot be installed, try installing it in compatibility mode:
1) If the driver is already installed, uninstall it. Then, when installing or reinstalling, right-click (or touch) the driver and select <;Compatibility Troubleshooting”.
2) Click “Try the suggested settings", click “Start Program” in the subsequent window.
3) After installation, check if it works.
If the audio driver is installed and working, but there is still no sound, try the following:
If you have an external speaker:
Is the speaker connected to the PC correctly? If the power is required, the power is turned on Is it turned on?
Is the sound device disabled?
A. On the desktop, right-click (or touch) the speaker icon in the taskbar and select “Playback device”.
B. Right-click (or touch) a white blank area and select “Show disconnected devices> and “Show disabled devices”.
C. If you see the icon for the speaker and headset at this time, right click (or touch) the correct sound device and select “Set as default device”.
o Audio service not started:
A. Search “Services.msc”.
B. Scroll through the list of services, right-click (or touch) “Windows Audio” and select “Start”.
