Win8.1update Simplified Chinese language package installation tutorial:
First, download the installation language package online
1, log in Win8.1 Update system, open this computer (This PC), select the control panel of the top toolbar (Control Panel), enter the control panel

2, then, we select the Clock, Language, and Region sub-section: Change input methods

3, under the Language section , select Add a Language (

4, at this time, we can find Chinese (Simplified) in the C series, select the People's Republic of China (PRC) language, and confirm the effectiveness.

5. Now, we can set the added Chinese and select Options.

6, Win8.1 Update system will automatically check whether there is a Windows display language pack, such as Simplified Chinese language pack. Now we just need Download and install language pack.

7, followed by the system will automatically download the Simplified Chinese language package (32-bit system, 100MB; 64-bit system, 137MB)

8, after the download is complete, we only need to choose Make this primary language (set Simplified Chinese to the first display language), and finally log out, take effect.

Second, local installation offline language package
Compared to Win8.1, Win8.1 Update can be seen as Win8.1 SP1, the same kernel. Therefore, we can directly use the Win8.1 RTM multi-language package to support offline local installation of the win8.1 Simplified Chinese language pack.
1, right click Win8.1 Update start button, select Run (Run)

2, enter lpksetup in the run dialog box, run

3, the system will pop up to install, uninstall Windows Display language, then, we choose Install display languages

4, browse and locate the downloaded Windows 8.1 Simplified Chinese package (lp.cab), start the installation.

5. Accept the language package license agreement

6. Finally, start to install the language package

7. After the installation, Win8.1 Update automatically reminds the user to log out the current system. To switch to the Simplified Chinese interface.
