Add the traditional desktop version of IE10 shortcut

in the Win8 start screen. First we need to create a new IE shortcut on the desktop, right click on the blank space of the desktop, select “New”——“Shortcut” .

Then enter the folder path where IE is located in the input box of the open window, as shown below, click the "Next" button.

Enter Internet Explorer 10 in the shortcut name input box, and click on “Done” to create a desktop version of IE10 shortcut.

Right-click on the shortcut icon you just created and select “Fix to the start screen”.

A tile that launches the traditional desktop version of IE10 has been generated on the Windows 8 start screen.

But the tile is placed in the last position, we can click and hold the tile, then drag to the position you want to place.
