HP TouchPad or Windows 8 tablet

HP promised to launch a new $99 TouchPad at the end of August this year. Some consumers are still waiting for the TouchPad to go on sale, but there is now a new rumor. Out, means HP is testing Windows 8 running with TouchPad. Clayton Morris posted on his blog via TechRepublic, saying the HP hardware team is busy testing the Windows 8 preview running on the TouchPad. It is estimated that HP is conducting an internal discussion and consider reviving the TouchPad as a Windows 8 tablet.

The i4u website reported that Windows 8 will be released by the end of 2012, when the TouchPad will be completely outdated, including its design and hardware performance. However, it is not surprising that HP introduced the Windows 8 tablet, because HP has released the Windows tablet for the first time at CES 2010.
