Windows 8 or will reduce the automatic update and restart program

November 21st news, according to foreign media reports, computer automatic restart has been very annoying, but the Windows system automatically restarts to install updates is another matter.
Windows 7 system is updated frequently. According to Microsoft data, about 90% of users are willing to restart the system. 2.38% of users want to be notified in advance. 3.44% of users want to be notified before the update is downloaded. 4.88% of users turn off automatic update. .
Automatic update and restart to cause a sudden interruption of operation, the data has not been saved and lost, so the user is very angry. Microsoft Windows 8 will improve this by introducing a 72-hour automatic update and reboot period.
According to reports, Microsoft plans to change the automatic restart in the past to monthly, which is what Microsoft calls "Tuesday Patch" (second Tuesday of each month). When an urgent security update is needed, Microsoft will immediately release a patch.
When a reboot is required, Microsoft will provide users with 72 hours to save data. Once the 72-hour time limit is reached, the login page will display a reminder, and then let the Windows Update update program start to restart the computer. If the system detects an important process, Windows 8 will immediately remind the user to save the data and restart within 15 minutes.
Improved Windows 8 needs to identify whether the user system is ready for a reboot, but will no doubt be more popular than Windows 7.
