Win8.1 can not start apache service how to do?

apache is a web server software. Recently, a user upgraded the Win8 system to Win8.1 system and found that the apache service could not be started. Even some users have disappeared from the apache service. In the face of these problems, How to solve it? Please listen to Xiaobian for everyone to explain below.

Method /Step:

1. First open the browser, enter localhost and press Enter. If the page shown below appears, continue. If there is a response, it is very likely that your other servers are still open. For example, IIS needs to shut down these servers first, because these servers will occupy port 80 of the computer, but Win8.1 may have bugs when shutting down IIS;

2, then find the Apache server installation directory, generally appear in this computer \\LENOVO (D:) \\ Apache Software Foundation \\ Apache2.2, open the bin directory, the bin directory is executable catalog file, as shown below;

3, found in the bin directory httpd.exe command, start cmd, i.e. the command line, run with an administrator, the CD to the bin directory;

4, using the following command to execute the service cmd installation: httpd.exe -k install -n Apache2.2, wherein Apache2.2 name of the service is to be installed;

5. After the installation is complete, use the command net start Apache2.2 to start the service you just installed. If you are not used to using commands, you can open the list of services and then manually start the service as shown.

If after you upgrade Win8.1 system, the situation appears or disappears apache service will not start, as long as you follow the above steps can be.
