How to open the keypad digital lock by default in Win7/Win8.1/Win10 login screen?
There are two ways to do this. The first operation is more convenient. Just open the digital lock manually on the login screen, then click the shutdown option in the lower right corner and select Restart. After the login interface is reached, the digital lock is enabled by default.
If this method does not work, you need to set it in the registry. Prior to this, you can use the soft media Rubik's cleanup master (click to download) to back up the registry.
The specific method is as follows:
1, enter "regedit" in the operation and press Enter, open the registry editor
2, locate to HKEY_USERS\\.DEFAULT\\Control Panel\\Keyboard

3. Select InitialKeyboardIndicators, modify its numerical data to 2 (Win7)/80000002 (Win8/Win8.1/Win10)
4, and then restart after confirming.
About the meaning of the numeric data of InitialKeyboardIndicators, refer to the following table. :

Note: In Win8/Win8.1/Win10, the "Value" format should be changed to 8000000x, and "x" is the "Value" in the above table. The single digit value is used directly in Win7.
You can make the necessary changes as needed according to the meaning of the values ​​in the above table. If you want to restore the previous default settings, just change the value data of InitialKeyboardIndicators to 0, or use the soft media Rubik's Cleanup Master (click to download) to restore the registry.
