Experience the WP8 graphic tutorial in Win8

With the official release of Windows Phone 8, the corresponding official SDK development kit has also been updated. Before the arrival of the new system phone, let us first experience the charm of WP8 through the simulator that comes with the official SDK.
This simulator was originally designed to be easy for programmers to debug, but ordinary users can also use this to experience the new interface of WP8, and get a glimpse of what the full version of the WP8 system looks like.

However, it should be noted that the system requirements for running this simulator smoothly are not low: the operating system is Windows8 Pro or higher, the memory should be no less than 4GB, and the available space of the hard disk is officially said to be at least 4GB. But actually 6-7GB is enough.

First download the installation package from Microsoft's official website ISO image format and install it, Simplified Chinese, volume 1.61GB.

Next, open the virtual machine component Hyper-V that comes with Windows 8 Pro. The specific path is Control Panel → Programs and Features → Turn Windows on or off, and check the Hyper-V related options. The system will automatically restart.

After the SDK installation is complete, run the VS Express for Windows program and enter the SDK development interface.

Select "File" → "New Project" and click "Confirm". The target version selects Windows Phone OS 8.0.

Select the corresponding emulator resolution (the drop-down arrow in the red box), the higher the machine configuration, the high-level "Emulator 720P", which is the current WP8 flagship such as Lumia 920 and HTC 8X. The standard resolution of the model. Click the play button to run the simulator, but the loading speed will not be very fast, please be patient.

After the simulator is loaded, the operation is exactly the same as on the WP8. Click the Windows logo button below to return to the main interface.

The upper right corner of the simulator has a vertical toolbar that can control the screen flip angle, zoom interface size (small screen users can choose to reduce the screen size after 720P), screen capture and so on.
