Clean up the Win 8 system app store cache

The app store in the Win8 system includes a rich set of new interface applications that allow users to easily find, download and install applications. However, since the application of Win8 application store is installed on the system disk by default, the path cannot be changed. If the Win8 system is installed, there is not enough space for the system disk, which leads us to keep the Win8 system disk after the new Win8 application is installed continuously. The space is getting smaller and smaller, which not only affects the speed of the system, but also fails to install new Win8 applications. So how do we clean up the cache files that Win8 left during the application download and installation? The method is very simple.

Press "Win+R" to open the "Run" dialog, then enter the "wsreset" command, press Enter or press the "OK" button.

After the command is run, the Win8 system will enter the app store. After the cache is clear, the following prompt "Clear app store cache" will be given.

Attachment: If we want to view the cache directory of Win8 application, you can open Win8's file explorer by pressing "Win+E" and check "Hidden Project" in the "View" column. Then enter the directory "system drive letter: \\username\\AppData\\Local\\Packages\\", where you can see the cache file of the Win8 application. For example, the folder of the Win8 new interface PPTV application is "PPTV.PPTVHD_svvymaqds8vhm".
