In fact, there is a simpler The method to achieve a low threshold to install the mobile version of Win8. Prepare the original material

We need a lot of original materials, first prepare the Win8 installation image file package, extract it to the currently used Windows 7 The free partition space of the computer hard disk, or virtual unpacking with the virtual optical drive software can also be used.

Install the Win7 Automated Installation Kit and locate the Imagex.exe file from the installation directory C:\\Program Files\\Windows AIK\\Tools\\amd64 or C:\\Program Files\\Windows AIK\\Tools\\x86.

Mobile Device Initialization

Prepare your mobile hard drive or USB flash drive with a capacity of at least 10GB! Because our goal is to boot the system from a mobile device, so the device primary partition needs to be activated. . If we are using a USB flash drive, we need to format it as NTFS; if we are using a mobile hard disk, we need to divide the first partition into a primary partition and activate it. Activation is as simple as starting system disk management, then right-clicking on the mobile storage primary partition and selecting "Set partition as active partition". If the menu is already grayed out, the primary partition is activated.

Preparing the installation file

Create a working folder in the free partition of the hard disk to store the files needed for system installation. Copy the Imagex.exe file prepared above to this folder. Then copy the install.wim file in the source folder of the Win8 installation CD image file to this working folder. This file is relatively large, with more than 2GB.

Automatically extract system files

Run as administrator and “command prompt", go to our prepared working directory and execute imagex /apply install.wim 1 F:\\ command (Figure 1), wait patiently, and automatically extract the system files after twenty or thirty minutes. This waiting time is related to the computer configuration you use and the type of mobile device. If you use a USB flash drive, it may take longer, and the time it takes to move the hard disk is relatively short.

It must be noted that parameter 1 in the above command represents the second storage device in the computer, assuming that there is already a hard disk in your computer (default is 0) At this time, the mobile device you inserted is the second block, so the serial number is 1.
