Windows 8 EFI hard disk installation

1, first prepare a hard disk partition of about 4G, select FAT32 file system when formatting, do not choose NTFS, because EFI Shell does not support NTFS.

2, then copy the EFI Shell file (if you do not have EFI Shell files, you can download the attachment) and the files in the Windows 8 installation CD image to the root directory of the new sub-area (as shown in the figure) Show)

3. Restart the computer and enter the bios setup menu. Select "Launch EFI Shell from filesystem device"

4. Enter EFI Shell and enter “lds;fs0:” Enter , then enter “dir” Enter, if the files and folders you see are the same partition, then it is right (may be fs1:, fs2: wait, try one by one)

5, enter "ldcd; cd efi", and "cd boot", "bootx64.efi"

6, if you see the Windows 8 startup screen is successful, then began to install like a CD

Note: Please prepare the GPT hard disk in advance, because EFI can only be booted from the GPT hard disk (the conversion needs to delete all partitions, so please backup the data before conversion to prevent loss)

Remarks:

Note: Please prepare the GPT grid in advance. Hard disk, because EFI GPT can only start from the hard disk (conversion requires delete all partitions, so please backup data before conversion, to prevent loss)
