Win8.1 implements the method of entering safe mode by F8

Friends who have used Win8 know that because Windows 8.1 uses a hybrid mode of quick start, it is impossible to use F8 to enter safe mode, but we can turn off the quick start function, otherwise the old F8 can not enter the safe mode.

To achieve a quick start, you can do the following:

1. Press the [Win]+[X] shortcut;

2. The shortcut that appears Select “Power Options";

from the menu 3. Click “Select Power Button Functions"Options;

4. Click “Change Current Unavailable Settings” ;

5. Cancel the quick start and save at the bottom of the interface.

After turning off the quick start, press the [Win]+[X] shortcut key and select the “Command Prompt (Administrator)” option in the shortcut menu. In the English state, enter “ldcd;bcdedit /Set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy” and press Enter.

The prompt "Operation completed successfully" indicates that your setup was successful. Restart the computer and quickly press the F8 key when booting to see if the traditional “Safe Mode” option appears.
