How to create a storage pool in Windows 8

  

This new feature called "Storage Space" will utilize a physical storage facility to form a data pool. This data pool will be created using SATA, USB and SAS drives and will be able to use additional hardware extensions.

These virtual hard drives called "space" can expand 4TB of storage to 10TB. These storage spaces also provide an elastic layer to solve the problem of different physical media errors.

Another benefit of this feature is that once a physical hard drive fails, this "storage pool" can automatically generate a copy of the data in the affected place.

First, you need to connect an external storage device before creating a storage pool, otherwise you will not be able to create it.

The storage device is formatted each time it is created, so back up the data.

Operation steps:

1. Open the control panel and find the system and security. As shown below:

Second, find the storage space under the system and security. As shown below:

Third, click on the storage space, find “ create a new pool and storage space & rdquo; and click. As shown below:

4. Click on “Create Pool” and you will see the mobile storage device. As shown below:
