Win8 upgrade to Win8.1 black screen, blue screen solution

  

After upgrading from Win8 system to Win8.1 through the app store, black screen, blue screen, etc. appear before restarting into the desktop, unable to enter the operating system.

Cause analysis: Some models with intel+AMD display card are configured, and the display card driver is not compatible with win8.1 driver.

Solution:

Method 1: Not yet upgraded to Win8.1

1. Uninstall Intel and AMD in Device Manager before upgrading win8.1 system Video card driver. As shown below:

2. After completing the above uninstallation steps, upgrade to the windows8.1 system through the app store.

Method 2: Upgraded to Win8.1 and the black screen blue screen has been activated

1. Press and hold the “Power button” to keep the system shut down for about 5 seconds;

2. Press “Power button” to turn the computer on;

3. Repeat steps 1-2 3 times;

4. You will see the recovery screen, select “Advanced Recovery Options”---<quo;Troubleshooting” as shown below:

5. Select “Advanced Options 

6. Select “Start Settings”;

7. Click “Restart”;

8. Select “5.Enable security mode with network connection>;

9. Restart will enter security Mode, right click on the mouse "Start Menu" and select "Device Manager";

10. Uninstall Intel and AMD's graphics card drivers in Device Manager.
