After upgrading Win8.1, "Your windows 8.1 installation can not be completed" solution

Upgrade Win8.1 through the app store. After a period of update, an error occurs. "Your Windows 8.1 installation could not be completed", there is no error code. Click “try again” can't continue to update, you must go back to the app store, click again to download the update.

Reason analysis: This problem usually occurs when downloading or starting the installation.

Solution:

First confirm that the app in the Download Store and Windows AutoUpdate are functional.

1. Press the windows key +X on the keyboard, click on the pop-up menu < command prompt (admin) & rdquo;;

2. In the command prompt window, enter &ldquo ;wsreset”, then press the ENTER key on the keyboard;

3. The app store will be opened with the message "The app store's cache has been cleared." You can now browse the app in the app store 

4. Go back to the app store homepage and download Windows 8.1 again.
