Windows8 Mobile Center Connect External Display Settings

  

1. Under Metro or Traditional Desktop, press the keyboard's “Win+X” combination hotkey to bring up the shortcut menu and use the left mouse button to click “Moving Center (B) ”. As shown below:

2. Ensure that the external display is connected to the host and the external display is powered on. Under the Windows Mobile Center interface, click the “Connect Monitor (C)” button as shown below. As shown below:

3, the system will automatically pop up the Charms Bar on the right side, according to the actual situation, select the external output as copy mode or extended mode. This example demonstrates direct clicks & "extensions". As shown in the following figure:

4. By default, the system will automatically recognize and set the external screen as the secondary display, so the external display only has the Windows background image in the extended mode. In addition, the default position of the external display is in the right position, you can use the mouse to drag the window, program, document, etc. to the right side to display on the external display.

5, if you need to change the external output mode, you can also use the "Win+P” combination hotkey to call up the picture of step 3 for manual change.

6. If you need to modify the direction and position of the external display, you can click the icon at the location shown in the figure below in the Windows Mobile Center.

7. In the pop-up change the appearance setting interface of the display, you can adjust the display position, resolution and direction according to actual needs and conditions. The details are as follows:

Remarks:

1. To change the position of the display, you can use the mouse to click on the display in the above picture area, and you need to adjust the position of the display. Br>

2. Change the resolution: By default, the system will automatically recognize the best resolution and identify it as recommended. If there is no special situation, it is not recommended to modify. If you want to modify it, you can refer to the icon icon “2”

3. Change the direction: the default is the horizontal display. If you need to adjust, you can select the display to be adjusted first, then change to Vertical or horizontal, the modification can refer to the icon icon "3"
