1 In Windows Server 2003, enter “Add/Remove Programs from “Control Panel", click “Add/Remove Windows Components" button from Windows Add “Terminal Server" and "Terminal Server Authorization" in the Component Wizard dialog box and install by default. After the installation is complete, restart the server.

2 Run the “Terminal Server Authorization” program from the “Administrative Tools” button, right-click on the computer name, select “Activate Server” from the menu that appears, and follow the steps below. , activate the terminal server.

Tip: If the administrator's operating system is Windows XP Professional, you can proceed to step 5 without having to perform steps 3 and 4 below.

3 Copy the "Remote Desktop Connection" installation program from the %systemroot%\\system32\\clients\\tsclient\\win32 directory of the Windows Server 2003 computer to the network administrator's workstation, or by sharing Run the installer directly. %systemroot% is the system directory where Windows Server 2003 is installed. The default is Windows.

4 If you are installing the "Remote Desktop Connection" program on a Windows 98 computer, you will need to restart it before the official installation. If you are using a Windows XP Professional computer for management, you do not have to install it.

5 After running the installation, "Remote Desktop Connection" program, if you are using windows xp, click “Start →All Programs & Rarr;Accessories & Rarr;Communication> Program.

Click on "Options" to open all options for Remote Desktop Connection to set up.

Enter the IP address of the Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server in the "Computer" field. Enter the administrator account <Administrator" in the "username" column, enter the password for the account in the “password" and check “Save password”. Then, select the “Show” tab, and at the slider below the “Remote Desktop Size”, you can change the managed window size.
