Win 2003 Tip: View the security mode in the startup log file

The log file is a collection of log files or files used to record system operation events, the operating system has operating system log files, the database system has database system log files, etc. . If there is a problem with the startup of the computer, then you need to use the function of the system log file. I will explain this problem in detail today.

To solve the startup problem, please check the startup log file Ntbtlog.txt, then Make a note of the drivers and services that failed to load when you started your computer in "Safe Mode".

This log file is located in the %SystemRoot% folder (the Winnt folder by default). This log file lists the devices and services that are loaded (and failed to load) when the computer is started in "Safe Mode". You can open and view log files using a text editor such as “Notepad”.

Using a list of drivers and services that failed to load during startup helps determine the possible cause of the startup issue.

Note: Some startup issues may occur early in the boot process. In this case, Windows may not have saved the startup log file to your hard disk.
