How Windows Server 2003 Enables IPv6 Protocol

  

Windows Server 2003 operating system already includes IPv6 support, but it is not installed by default. We can install IPv6 by following these steps:

Click the “Start” menu in the lower left corner of the screen, and then click the “Run” menu (or press Win+R) and enter the following command in the Run window:

netsh interface ipv6 install

Wait a moment, IPv6 protocol is installed

IPv6 address will be automatically obtained through neighbor discovery. It is not recommended to manually set static address; DNS The server parameters can be set using the IPv4 DNS server, usually automatically.
