Let Windows 2008 share access to the highway

In the era of information explosion, no matter large-scale units or small-scale units, local area networks corresponding to their respective units have been formed; many important resources in the unit often need to be made available to each employee through the network. Sharing access, not only can effectively save office expenses, but also greatly improve daily office efficiency. The original access to shared resources is a simple topic that is not worth mentioning. However, in the Windows Server 2008 system environment, we found that it is necessary to share access operations. “The old title is new sing”; this does not, with the following access cheats , we can easily let Windows Server 2008 shared access to the highway!

1.Enable caching, speed up the sharing of resource calls

In practice, we often need Windows A shared resource in the Server 2008 system is frequent. If the system lets the system call shared information from disk every time it is accessed, the speed obviously does not make the system call the shared information from the cache as fast. In order to speed up the sharing of resource calls, we can enable the caching function in the disk partition where the target shared resource is located. Once the target shared resource is accessed once, the shared content will be automatically saved to the system cache. Next time we are again When accessing the same shared resource, you will feel that the shared access speed is significantly faster. Below, let's take a look at how to enable the shared cache function of the disk in the Windows Server 2008 system environment:

First log in to the Windows Server 2008 system as a super administrator account, double-click on the system desktop. Computer icon, in the pop-up disk partition list window, find the disk partition icon where the target shared resource is located;

Next, right-click the target disk partition icon, and click &ldquo from the shortcut menu that pops up. "Properties" command, click on the "Hardware" tab in the subsequent interface, then select the local disk drive option in the corresponding tab settings page, and click the "Properties" button to enter the local disk drive's property settings Interface;

Click the "Policy" tab in the property settings interface to open the label settings page as shown in Figure 1, and check the "Enable write cache on disk" checkbox. Whether it is selected, if it is found that the option has not been selected, we can re-select it; similarly, we On the corresponding tab page, click “Enable advanced performance” to select the option, and finally click the “OK” button to end the disk drive's property setting operation, so that we can successfully enable the shared cache function of the disk, and repeat it later. The speed of accessing a shared resource can be greatly improved. This kind of setting operation is particularly effective for frequent access to large-capacity shared resources, and the effect is not so obvious when accessing shared resources with small capacity.
