Policy with Win2003 Remote Desktop User Permissions

For the "Remote Desktop" function in Win2003, I believe that many users are already familiar with it. With this function, any user can easily realize remote access and management of the server. But if you are not "Remote Desktop User", you can't enjoy its features. In fact, we can grant these permissions by manually setting. Here I will introduce you to several settings.

The first one:

1, start "Run" enter gpedit.msc

2, expand the computer configuration "windows settings" security settings "local policy" user rights allocation "Double-click to refuse to log in through Terminal Services" to delete the users group inside.

This method I tried, found that the group policy inside "double-click through the terminal service refused to log in" is empty, indicating that it was not blocked, began to be very depressed, thinking that this method is not working.

Later, I accidentally saw that there is a "subsequent permission to log in through the terminal service", double-clicked in and saw only the "administrator" group, so I added a "Domain Users" group to go in, huh, huh, Got it, the error disappeared.

Second:

Go to "Control Panel" --> "Administrative Tools" --> "Terminal Service Configuration" --> " Server Settings " In the right box, Authorize "Per User" Change to "Per Device",

Processing:

1. "Control Panel" -- > "Administrative Tools" --> "Terminal Services Configuration"

2. Click "Connect", the connection appears on the right (for example: RDP-Tcp, tcp, Microsoft RDP 5.2 )

3. Double-click the connection you want to modify.

3. In the pop-up window, click the "Permissions" tab.

4. Click "Advanced", then click "Add".

5. Specify the user or group to add to enable the user or group to use "Remote Control".

6. After adding a user or group, the Permissions item dialog is displayed. Click the Allow column of “Remote Control' to select it.

7. Click OK.

8. Click OK and click OK again.

Third:

The Terminal Server Licensing grace period has elapsed and the service has not been registered with a licensed license server. To continue, you need a terminal server license server. If there is no license server, the terminal server can run for 120 days after the first startup.

Delete the terminal service and terminal service authorization in the system component, do not select the delete button, restart, open the remote desktop The remote desktop can be used normally and without restrictions...

The fourth:

1. Uninstall the terminal service and terminal authorization service: Control panel → Add and delete program → Add /Delete windows components → delete terminal services and terminal authorization services.

*You are prompted to restart your computer. Please remember that you can't start it.

2, point my computer properties → remote & rarr; remote desktop & rarr; in the "remote desktop of this computer to enable" on the tick & rar;; will be prompted, point to determine.

3. Restart. For the connection, I saw the familiar desktop. Easy to get!

The above four are the manual settings for Win2003 remote desktop user rights, four options for users to choose, what are you waiting for in front of you? Hurry according to the above steps Settings, this time you are a member of these permission groups.
