If you want to use a print server for LAN shared printing, first make sure your
computer
and the print server are on the same network segment and can communicate with each other. After the first use or reset, the default IP address of our company's print server is 192.168.0.10. If the IP address of your computer
is not on this network segment, you must first set the IP address of the computer to 192.168.0.x (x is 2-255). You can change the IP address of the print server in the following ways (we take the XP system as an example):

1. Click Start
--Control Panel

Open the network connection window.

2. Right local connection, select Properties
. Double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
in the Local Area Connection Properties window.

3. Select Use the following IP address
, enter a 192.168.0.x (x is 2-255) segment of the IP address (in this example 150) , the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, then click OK to return to the Local Area Connection Properties window, click OK again to make the settings take effect.

4. Open browser
, the address http://192.168.0.10 Enter the print server, you can open the management interface of the print server.

5. Select Set

6. The IP address of your computer's IP address back to the previous.

If you have forgotten the IP address of the print service, you can also use the PSAdmin software that comes with the printer server to search the print server and modify its IP address, but first make sure that the computer and print server are properly connected to the same LAN. . The specific setting method is as follows:

1. Install the installer from the printer server CD-ROM. Click Start
--All Programs
--Network Print Server
--PSAdmin

2. Open the PSAdmin, the software will automatically search the current LAN print server, tabulates the results after the search is completed.

3. You can click TCP /IP
to see the IP address of a print server.

4. If the IP address of the print server and your computer current IP address is not in the same network segment, you can click attribute
button, select TCP /IP < Br> to modify the print server's IP address. After
