The role of 100M hidden partitions in Windows 7 system

Today, Ivy Encyclopedia explains the role of hidden partitions in Win7/Windows
7 system. The main function of this partition is to restore the system, that is, the system crashes to restore the system to its original state.

Under NTFS format, the boot file can only work in 4KB cluster partition. This is to make WIN7 install the partition with hard disk cluster larger than 4KB. This 100M is used to store the boot file of WIN7, so install WIN7. The primary partition can be set to clusters of other sizes, even FAT32.

We all know that the larger the cluster, the better the disk performance, the less fragmentation, but it will take up more space. Now the hard disk is big, and it is worthwhile to sacrifice some space for performance.

We can use Windows to bring the partition function, first establish a 100M system partition, and then exit, CD or U disk into the PM to establish the primary partition, and then you can arbitrarily specify the size of the cluster.
