How to use NTFS partition permission to encrypt U disk

U disk is flexible, lightweight, easy to carry, but it will inevitably be lost. Once lost, the information and data stored in the U disk will be known by others, then how can we better? Using U disk can prevent data leakage. We can use NTFS partition permission to encrypt U disk and set u disk partition encryption, so even if the U disk is lost, there is no need to worry about data leakage.

Using NTFS partition permissions for U disk encryption:

First, the u disk must be used in the NTFS file system format. So we insert the u disk into the computer
, open “ my computer
”, right click on the u disk in the menu option on the right, select the "Format" & rdquo; option, pop up Under the window, select “Quick Format” and click the “Start” button;

After completing the above operation, right click on the U disk icon and click the “Properties” command to open U disk property setting interface. Click the “Security" tab in the interface, and select and delete the everyone account on the corresponding tab page. Next, click the “Add” button to import the user account that needs to access the USB flash drive. Those account users who have not imported will not have access to and use the USB flash drive in the future.

The above describes the encryption of the u disk partition. The method of setting the access password is implemented by using the NTFS partition-specific permissions. The user account that needs to be accessed is imported into the U disk. The imported user account does not have permission to access the USB flash drive, so the data of the USB flash drive is protected. Users who need it can quickly try it.
