Microsoft has been working on the Windows interface in recent years, "beauty", from the Windows Phone 7 Metro interface to the Windows 8 dynamic tile, the flat design style has been continued, until now Windows 10, This style began to mature.

However, a closer look will reveal that there are still some icons and interface UIs in the current version of Windows 10 that retain the shadow of the Windows 7 era, which makes the whole system look like a mixed-race.

In response, Microsoft has begun to plan to make Windows 10 more pure. The new UI interface called NEON has been quietly brewing for more than a year, and is scheduled to be officially installed on Windows 10 RedStone 3.

Accordingly, the NEON project is dedicated to solving and correcting various interface inconsistencies in the current Windows 10 system. UWP developers can now create their own right-click menus, application bars, burger menu designs, etc. The project is dedicated to ending this fragmented interface, and the NEON project will provide more stringent interface design specifications. So that the entire system and each application software form a truly complete UI design.
