How to compress hiberfil.sys hibernation file in Win10?

My computer is installed with Windows 14 14383 version. The computer is equipped with 8G memory. A 7.87GB hiberfil.sys file (hibernate function file) appears in the root directory of the system disk, which takes up a large amount of system disk space. But I don't want to disable the system's hibernation feature. What method can I use to compress the hiberfil.sys file to save disk space?

First, check the hiberfil.sys file

1, enter the resource manager, click [View]-[Options] to open the folder options;

2 In the folder options window, click [View], in the [Advanced Settings] column, click [Hide Protected Operating System Files] to select the box, select [Show hidden files, folders and drives], and then click: Application - OK.

9. Compressing the hibernation file, the computer may have a blue screen. If the physical memory is large and the system disk space is seriously insufficient, consider compressing the hiberfil.sys hibernation file to save system disk space. If the memory is small, such as 2GB, compressing hiberfil.sys to sleep files is not likely to make a lot of room, it is recommended not to compress hiberfil.sys hibernation file.
