How to do Win10 too bloated? Teach you to uninstall the useless components

Microsoft's operating system has always been known for its big and comprehensive, bundled with many components in Windows, and thus the distribution between the system and the user. It's coming: For most users, the small but fine features that you can't use will only become a burden. So if you want your PC to be less troublesome, it is necessary to uninstall some components that are not useful to you.

Redundant application one-click uninstallation

Friends who use Windows 10 know that Windows 10 will automatically install and download a large number of applications without any permission from us. Many applications are for everyone. Said that there is no practical use. In fact, these useless applications can be uninstalled manually. For applications that are automatically installed after Windows 10 or Windows 10 is installed, we can select the application in the Start menu and right-click and select “Uninstall”. Of course, other programs installed by yourself, such as QQ, Thunder, etc., can also be quickly uninstalled using this method (Figure 1).

For those built-in applications that are automatically installed when installing Windows 10, such as Xboxlive games, the above method cannot be uninstalled directly (there is no "uninstall" item in the right-click menu) Such applications can be uninstalled with the help of the system's own commands. Start Powershell as an administrator and enter "Get-AppxPackage * need to uninstall the app name* |  Remove-AppxPackage”, so that the selected application can be uninstalled (Figure 2).

Uninstall the unnecessary application and then open the start menu. Now, is it refreshing? Of course, if the uninstalled application is to be used again, we can simply open the app store and download it again (Figure 3).

Excessive service is closed with one button

The default Windows 10 settings are initialized for most user needs, and Mostly in the form of system services (we are difficult to close in the usual way). But specific to the individual, there may be many system components that some friends can't use. Now for redundant system services, we can use the "Enable or disable Windows features" component to selectively shut down.

Open the control panel, expand “program → enable or disable the Windows function, in the open window to remove the unnecessary components according to their actual situation, such as many users who do not have a printer, print And the file service is basically useless, remove the checkmark in front of it, and then press the prompt to close the system service (Figure 4).

Quickly streamline other components with professional tools

In addition to the above components, there are other components in Windows 10 that need to be streamlined. Remaining registry keys, expired drivers, WinSXS temporary files, etc., can be cleaned up with professional tools such as Dism++. After starting Dism++, switch to the corresponding functional components for streamlining. For example, switch to “Drive Management”, tick the driver you need to delete, and then click Remove Driver (Figure 5).
