Win10 system installs Edge browser extension graphic tutorial and video clips

The Win10 RedStone Redstone preview released by Microsoft yesterday has opened the Edge browser extension test to Insider users. The Edge Browser Extension is one of the most important new features in the Windows 10 Redstone Update, which extends the capabilities of browsers and websites. Currently, the Edge extension only supports Win10 desktop version, and Win10 mobile version does not.

After the official release of Win10 RS1, users can download and install the Edge extension from the app store, just like installing a normal app. However, in the preview version, users need to install manually. The following is the detailed installation method for everyone:

1, first download the Edge extension (preview version)

2, decompress the extension

directly run the downloaded extension file (exe format) to automatically extract the file. It should be noted that, according to the actual measurement, no matter which directory you download the extension file to, it will eventually extract the file into the user's download folder.

3.Load extension

Open the Edge browser and click the “...” button in the upper right corner to display the menu item:
