Win10 RedStone Preview 14271 Taskbar Properties New Settings Options

Microsoft is gradually enhancing the functionality of setting up applications in Win10 to replace the traditional setup window and control panel. In the Windows 10 RedStone preview 14271 that was pushed today, Microsoft is moving forward.

In the 14271 version setting application, the taskbar setting option has been added. As shown in the figure below, you can see that the setting function in the original "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" has been ported here. Settings include locking the taskbar, automatically hiding the taskbar, using small taskbar buttons, and more.

In addition to this, there are also multi-screen settings. You can set whether to display the taskbar in all displays, the icons in all screen taskbars, and whether the icons are merged in other screen taskbars.

However, the current version of the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" setting is still retained and should be removed in subsequent releases.

At present, Microsoft has completed the improvement of the Win10 unified core. In the next version, users will see more and more changes. Currently known features in development include Edge browser extension. And OneDrive file placeholders.
