Win10 TH2 official image was suddenly deleted: the reason is that privacy settings can not be retained

Microsoft launched Windows 10 TH2 update in November, first through Windows Update to provide upgrades, and later to facilitate users to upgrade the system, plus ISO The download and production of the image, but it seems that the ISO image has been officially revoked.

Not only the ISO image was suddenly revoked, but some users said that the TH2 update could not be detected in Windows Update, just as this important update suddenly disappeared.

Why should Microsoft do this?

Foreign media reports, Microsoft publicly voiced today, acknowledging that the withdrawal was true because they learned that some Win10 users encountered some problems after obtaining the TH2 update, specifically the four privacys in the system. The settings cannot be retained and will return to the initial state.

These four settings are "Allow the app to use my ad ID", "Open SmartScreen to filter web content", "Let the app run in the background" and "Sync with device" ” .

Microsoft said that we will re-set these users' preferences in the next few days and apologize for the inconvenience.

Now, the TH2 update channel has been re-opened, and users who have not successfully upgraded can now try to check again.

In addition, you can also directly download the ISO image of Windows 10 TH2, including Home/Professional, Enterprise, Education, and Volume Licensing.
