Win7/Win8.1 upgrade to Win10 appears blue screen 0x00000133 The problem is being solved

Many users who have upgraded from Win7/Win8.1 to Win10 have encountered different blue screen issues. Recently, Microsoft responded to one of the "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION", indicating that the problem is being solved.

According to user feedback, the error code for this problem is 0x00000133, the time of the problem is not certain, and it will be repeated. Like other blue screen issues, the system will reboot after the prompt “Collect Information”.

A Microsoft engineer Anannya Podder said in the Microsoft community that the problem was caused by a driver compatibility issue called iastor.sys, which Microsoft is working on. Affected users can avoid blue screens by temporarily using Microsoft's storahci.sys driver. The operation method is very simple. In the “Device Manager”, manually change the “IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller” driver to “Standard SATA AHCI Controller”.

Microsoft has not made clear when the problem can be finally resolved, please continue to pay attention to this
