How does the Win10 file checker check the damaged files of the repair system?

The Windows10 system installed on the computer is deleted due to the installation and uninstallation of the program, system optimization, virus killing and our improper operation. These system files cause unstable operation, even fail to start, and so on. How to avoid these failures? In other words, when the system does not appear to be unable to start, what method can be used to detect whether the system file is damaged, and if the system file is damaged, how to fix it? As can be seen from the questions of Baidu Zhiyou, the vast majority of the computer problems, the boot can not enter the system, and then ask questions for help. No friends think about how to make the computer not malfunction before the computer system failure (hardware failure is another matter). For example, Windows 10 system, we can use the file checker to check and repair the damaged files of the system to prevent malfunctions.

Step 1: Open the system's administrator command prompt window.

Windows10 system open the administrator command prompt window has the following methods:

Method 1: In the search bar in the lower left corner of the system desktop, enter: CMD, click: command prompt, you can open Administrator command prompt window.

Method 2: Right-click on the start of the system desktop in the lower left corner and click on the command prompt (administrator) in the context menu to open the administrator command prompt window.

Method 3: Enter the Explorer, click the up arrow under “Computer" in the newly opened window and then click: File - Open Command Prompt (P) - Open Administrator At the command prompt (A), you can open an administrator command prompt window.

Method 4: Go to Explorer - System C:\\Disk - Windows - system 32, find cmd.exe, right click: cmd.exe, click on Manage in the context menu Run as a member (A), you can open the administrator command prompt window (can be used when other methods can not open the administrator command prompt window, because this method is more troublesome).

The above four methods can open the administrator command prompt window, which depends on which method we are used to open.

Second Step:

1. In the Administrator Command Prompt window, type: sfc /scannow command. If you are afraid of incorrect input, you can copy it first: sfc /scannow, click In the upper left corner of the administrator command prompt window, click the small box (C:\\). In the drop-down menu, click: Edit - Paste;

2. After this operation, the sfc /scannow command is copied and pasted into the management. In the command prompt window, press the Enter key on the keyboard;

3, start the verification phase of the system scan, it takes about 10 minutes, wait;

4, the scan is completed, the display information is as follows:

Start the verification phase of the system scan. Verify that 100% is complete. Windows Resource Protection found the corrupted files and successfully fixed them.

CBS.Log There is more information in windir\\Logs\\CBS\\CBS.log. For example,

C:\\Windows\\Logs\\CBS\\CBS.log. Note that in offline service scenarios,

does not currently support logging. This is the result of a local scan.

5, of course, it is possible to receive the following information:

Windows Resource Protection could not find any integrity violations. - This means that our computer has no missing or corrupted system files.

Windows Resource Protection was unable to perform the requested operation. To resolve this issue, execute the System File Checker in Safe Mode and ensure that the PendingDeletes and PendingRenames folders exist under %WinDir%\\WinSxS\\Temp.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupted files but could not repair them. The details are included in CBS.Log %WinDir%\\Logs\\CBS\\CBS.log.

6. If Windows Resource Protection finds corrupted files but cannot fix them, we can use the Dism command to fix them.

1) In the Administrator Command Prompt window, type: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth command. The Dism tool will report the status of the image. It is well damaged but can be repaired and the damage is not repairable.

2) In the administrator command prompt window, enter: DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth command, press Enter; restore the system image file to a file that is different from the official file. Source file (networked);

3) After about 10 minutes, the restore operation is successfully completed and exit the administrator command prompt window.

The above is the Windows 10 system file checker to check the damaged file system for friends to refer to and use.
