Win10 provides USB 3.1 Type-C standard for positive and negative insertion and native support for USB Dual Role connection

At Microsoft's forthcoming WinHEC conference, more details about Windows 10 will be made public. Microsoft also announced a list of agendas for the conference. One of the chapters showed the native support for the USB 3.1 Type-C standard and USB Dual Role connection that will be available when Windows 10 is released. To improve the USB connectivity expansion capabilities of Windows 10 devices, the conference will also explain the details of how to support this technology in Windows, and explain to hardware partners how to enable them.

USB 3.1 Type-C can support both forward and reverse insertion, convenient for users, and also supports transmission power of up to 100W, suitable for connection of ultra-high resolution displays.

Of course, in addition to providing support on software and systems, Windows 10 hardware partners are still required. I hope that when Windows 10 is launched, a large number of new devices will be updated to the USB 3.1 Type-C interface and support the DualRole connection scheme.
