Users who have used Win8 system know that the window border of Win8 is relatively wide. For small screen computers, there is a waste of display space. In fact, we only need to make a simple modification through the registry, so that the window frame can be narrowed. How to do it?

Win + R shortcut key brings up the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldedit", confirm, open “ Registry Editor & rdquo ;, navigate to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\Desktop\\WindowMetrics” in the left window. Figure:

Then find the string value “PaddedBorderWidth” in the right window, double-click the value, and modify its value data from “-60” to “0”, complete.

Finally, we close the registry and restart the system. At this point you will find that the settings have taken effect and the border of the Win8 window has become narrower.
