Microsoft released Win10 Build 9879 new patch to fix IE crash

Microsoft Windows10 technology preview version is Build 9879, although as a beta, bugs are inevitable, but Microsoft is doing its best to help those involved in the test of the Insider program Participants get a better experience and have released a new patch. This new patch fixes the explorer.exe crash that many users have encountered in Build 9879, but this fix has itself been a problem, and a significant number of users cannot install this patch.

Now, Microsoft has released another patch that addresses compatibility issues with Windows updates and this patch installation. Microsoft said that the problem that the first patch could not be installed is that Windows 10 uses SSD solid state drives differently than Windows, and uses data compression to reduce disk usage. Both of these problems cause installation problems.

This patch is available through Windows Update. Microsoft encourages users to install the latest fixes, even if they have not encountered problems during the original patch installation process, as this also solves potential problems in the future. Of course this type of support is only available in the official preview, so if you have installed a recent leaked version, you don't need to install these 2 patches.
