Microsoft's November Tuesday patch: Win8/Win8.1 has a total of 16 security updates

  
today, Microsoft Corporation released a November system update fix. According to the Microsoft Technet Security Bulletin, there are a total of 16 patches released this month, of which 5 are marked as critical; 9 are marked as important; and the other 2 are marked as medium. It is worth noting that the two patches numbered MS14-068 and MS14-075 were unexpectedly postponed. The patch is now marked as “ release date is expected to be set.

This system update is designed to Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, .NET Framework, Microsoft Developer Tools and Office Services, and some Microsoft Web applications. Among them, Win7, Win8 and Win8.1 have 8 patches.

• MS14-064: Fix a vulnerability in Windows OLE that allows remote code execution;

• MS14- 065: IE browser cumulative security update;

• MS14-066: Fix a vulnerability in Windows Schannel that allows remote code execution (KB2992611);

• MS14-067: Fix Vulnerability in XML Core Services to Allow Remote Code Execution (KB2993958);

• MS14-068: Release Time to Be Determined;

• MS14-069: Fix Office Vulnerability to Allow Remote Code Execution ( KB3009710);

• MS14-070: Fixed a vulnerability that allowed privilege escalation in TCP/IP (KB2989935);

• MS14-071: Fixed a bug in Microsoft Audio Services that allowed privilege escalation (KB3005607);

• MS14-072: Fixing the vulnerability that Microsoft .NET Framework allows for privilege escalation (KB3005210);

• MS14-073: Fixing a permission in SharePoint Foundation Edition Permission escalation vulnerability (KB3000431);

• MS14-074: Fix a security vulnerability in Remote Desktop Protocol (KB3003734);

• MS14-075: Specific release time to be determined;

• MS14-076: Fix a security vulnerability in IIS Network Information Service (KB2982998);

• MS14-077: Fixed a vulnerability in the ADFS Active Federated Directory that could lead to information disclosure (KB3003381);

• MS14-078: Fixed a vulnerability that allowed privilege escalation in Japanese input method (KB3005210);

• MS14-079: Fix vulnerabilities in distributed kernel mode drivers that allow distributed denial of service attacks (KB3002885);
