Windows 10 Preview Build 9865 is coming: Microsoft added touchpad gestures

Microsoft introduced new trackpad gestures in Windows 8, and Windows 10 will further improve this experience. At TechEd Europe, Microsoft Joe Belfiore demonstrated the upcoming new touchpad experience for the Windows 10 Technology Preview update, new build number Build 9865.

In Windows 10, Microsoft added touchpad gestures, including: three finger slides to minimize all active windows, and a top recovery window; or three finger swipes to activate Task View Interface; three finger left and right stroke switching applications. These are similar to the touchpad gesture settings for Mac OS X.

Windows 10 also improves the multi-screen window snapping, and now dragging to the edge of the screen will show the snap-on prompts for the layout window.

Joe Belfiore said these improvements will be in the next Windows Insider update. According to Microsoft's update frequency, the next Windows 10 Technology Preview update does not have to wait too long.
