How to copy and paste work in Win7 at the command prompt (cmd.exe)

  

In the process of using Win7 system, it is inevitable to use the command prompt program (cmd.exe), perhaps through the command prompt View or manage the various programs and resources on your computer, perhaps through a command prompt to copy files, and sometimes you need to save the results of command execution to other locations.

Command prompt copy status

By default, copy and paste work cannot be performed in the command prompt. You can not only use the combination keys Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. The “copy” command in the right-click menu is also invalid in the command prompt, and it is grayed out, as shown in Figure 1:

So how? The operation can achieve the copy of the text in the command prompt? It can only be achieved under the "quick edit mode". The following small series tells you how to do it.

Specific steps:

1. Right-click on the title bar of the “Command Prompt” window and select “ldquo; Properties” in the right-click menu bar that appears. Figure 2:

2. In the "Command Prompt Properties" window, switch to the "Options" tab and click on the right side of the window. “ Quick Edit Mode & rdquo; checkbox, and click “ OK & rdquo;, as shown in Figure 3:

3. After the above settings, just press and hold the left mouse button, and then select the part that needs to be copied, you can automatically complete the copy of the corresponding text, as shown in Figure 4, the white part is the text selected by the ink dye warm heart.

4. Open Notepad or other programs, press the Ctrl+V key combination on the keyboard in the blank space of the program to implement the Win7 command. The text in the prompt is copied. As shown in Figure 5:
