[Windows1.0: Declaring the End of DOS Operating System]

Windows 1.0, officially launched in November 1983, before Apple released MacOS 3 months. Windows 1.0 has a minimum memory requirement of 256KB, two dual-sided floppy drives, and a graphics adapter card. The recommended configuration is 512KB of RAM and a hard drive. Windows 1.0 essentially declares the end of the DOS operating system.

Windows 3.0 was released on May 22, 1990. Windows 3.0 introduces a 16-color icon with smarter memory management and supports the oldest version of DOS. In addition, Windows 3.0 also introduced card games. This is also the first major change in Microsoft's Windows operating system. Its minimum configuration is CPU: 1GHz, memory: 1GB; and the highest configuration reaches CPU: 2GHz, memory: 4GB. In addition, Win8 also incorporates a new touch function, users can log in and manage files by simply sliding and gathering screens. Surprisingly, however, the Central Government Procurement Network issued a notice on May 16, 2014, stating: “All computer products are not allowed to install the Windows 8 operating system. ”
