Break through the 30-day limit, Win10 non-destructive downgrade as you like

Computer store news: Microsoft released a non-destructive downgrade channel for users when releasing the official version of Windows10. This site also shared the tutorial of Win10 downgrading to Win7/Win8.1 for the first time. However, the official method is "with a valid period", after upgrading for more than 30 days, we can no longer use this method to roll back to the previous version of Windows. As time goes by, this day will always come, so what should I do if I want to downgrade for more than 30 days? Today, Xiaobian will share with you the solution.

First of all, science, Microsoft can provide Win10 non-destructive downgrade service, mainly rely on two folders — — “ Windows.Old & rdquo; and “ $ Windows. ~ BT (or $ Windows. WS, different installation methods will have different names), which is why I told you that once you delete the "Windows.Old" folder, you can not use the downgrade service provided by Microsoft. So why can't this service be used after 30 days? In fact, Microsoft has already set it up in advance. After 30 days, the system automatically deletes the two folders mentioned above. Once we find the reason, we can take the appropriate measures to solve the problem. We only need to back up the two folders mentioned above to the mobile hard disk or non-system disk. When 30 days later, Microsoft automatically deletes these two folders. It is also possible to back up the two files before we need to perform the lossless downgrade. The folder can be downgraded to the system disk. Because the “$Windows.~BT“ folder is a hidden attribute, you need to click “View” before the backup, and then check the checkbox in front of “Hidden items”, so you can see “ $Windows.~BT“ folder.

Of course, if you think that the backup file is a bit troublesome, there is an easier way to directly modify the naming of these two folders, so that these two folders will not be automatically deleted by the system. However, when we want to downgrade, we need to change the names of the two folders back!
