Win10 preview version 10041 supports fixing the setting options to the start menu

Computer shop news: Yesterday Microsoft pushed the Windows 10 Build 10041 update, bringing a number of new features including the transparency start menu. While many of the new features have been reflected in the previously leaked Build 10036, there are still some new features that have not been exposed before, if you look closely.

One of the new features is to support fixing a setup option to the start menu. As shown in the figure above, a “Pushpin” icon is added to the left side of the search box in the upper right corner of the screen. If you click on the "Pushpin" icon, the icon will change to a “fixed" icon that will add a shortcut to the start menu, at which point the tile will appear at the bottom of the screen.

But this feature is still very unstable, and this operation will cause the Settings app to crash several times after several fixes and unlocks.

Although the ability to pin to the Start menu is very helpful, it makes more sense if you support fixed shortcuts to set up the landing page. And if you open the Settings app, there are a lot of unused white space on the page that you can pin directly to the login panel.
