Microsoft receives Bitcoin as a payment option to purchase WP8.1/Win10 application channel

Computer Store News: Microsoft has announced that it will accept Bitcoin as a payment option to purchase digital content, allowing Bitcoin holders Use Bitcoin to top up your Microsoft account and then use it to purchase digital content from Windows, Windows Phone and Xbox stores.

But Microsoft has also explained that digital content cannot be purchased directly with Bitcoin:

“You can only use Bitcoin to recharge your Microsoft account, and then at the designated Microsoft Buy digital products online. Direct use of Bitcoin to purchase Microsoft products and services is currently not supported. ”

All business transactions will be handled by (bit payment), using Bitcoin to recharge Microsoft accounts.

• Log in to your Microsoft account

• Select payment options > Microsoft account > Bitcoin payment

• Select the account you want to add and choose Next.

• Use Wallet to pay, select "Use Bitcoin Payment" on your computer, and scan the QR code you need to pay on your smartphone.

Microsoft accepts Bitcoin as a form of payment and is an encouragement to those Bitcoin holders.
