Microsoft Win8.1 update service extension

Computer Store News: In April, Microsoft introduced the Windows 8.1 Update update, and the deadline was limited to May 12. However, many users reported that the deadline was too short, so Microsoft delayed the Windows 8.1 update service period by one month and extended it to June 10 to ensure that users can continue to receive patches and security fixes from Microsoft.

For enterprise users, they need to upgrade to Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 server operating systems by August 12. Microsoft extended these deadlines for Windows Update Service (WSUS), Windows Intune Service/System Center configuration to give users plenty of time to update their devices.

In addition, Windows 8.1 users who have turned on automatic update do not need to do anything, and their system will automatically update Windows 8.1 Update through Windows Update without automatically turning on. Updated users will need to manually install updates via Windows Update.
