Second, related preparations

1. Have a Windows 2000 boot installation CD.

2. Your motherboard BIOS supports booting from the CD-ROM drive.

3. Make a fully automatic installation control file winnt.sif.

4. A blank floppy disk.

5. For the current active partition C drive (can be a multi-C drive, not necessarily the first partition of the first hard drive, can be the second partition, but the partition must be activated) important data to do Backup, because the C drive will be automatically formatted during installation, and Windows 2000 will be installed on the C drive.

2. In the [UserDate] section, fill in your own Windows 2000 serial number.

3. Change the YourPassword in AdminPassword=YourPassword to the administrator password you want to use.

4. Copy the modified winnt.sif to a blank floppy disk.

5. Modify the boot order of the motherboard to: CDROM CA

6. Put the floppy disk with winnt.sif file into the floppy drive, put the CD that can boot Windows 2000 into the CD-ROM drive, boot Boot from the CD.

7. When the blue installation screen with "Windows 2000 Setup" appears, the computer will automatically read the file on the floppy drive and load winnt.sif for automatic installation.

8. You can go out for a walk, come back after 40 minutes and find that your system Windows 2000 is already installed.
