ADSL sharing method in Win 2000

  

ADSL hard device installation is actually not a lot of mystery, simply by using a network card to connect the computer and ADSL MODEM. (Note: This article takes the most common Alcatel ADSL MODEM in China as an example. The following setting methods are also applicable to ordinary stand-alone users.)

1.First click on the desktop and right click. Network Neighborhood & rdquo;, pop-up shortcut menu, select the "Attributes" option.

2. Click on the "Properties" option to open the "Network and Dial-up Connections" window, right-click on "Local Connections" and select the "Properties" option.

3. Click the "Properties" option to open the "Local Connection Properties" window, select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" in the component window, and select the "Properties" option. .

4. Click on the "Properties" option to open the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" window, fill in the IP address of the internal LAN and the subnet mask, click “OK” (The DNS server address filled in is provided by the local ISP in advance).

5. In the "Network and Dial-up Connections" window, right-click on the “New Connection” icon and select “New Connection (N)…”.

6. Click on “New Connection (N)…” to open the “Network Connection Wizard” window.

7. Click “Next”, in the “ select “ select “ connect to the private network via the Internet & rdquo;.

8. Click on “Next”, fill in the address field of the connection server in the address bar (the IP address filled in is provided by the local ISP).

9. Click “Next”, if it is a stand-alone Internet connection, "Just use this connection by myself", LAN will select "All users use this connection".

10.Click on “Next” and type the connection name in the space to name the connection, and finally click “Complete”.
