Windows 2000 Integration SP2

First, take out your Win2K CD and copy all the files to a directory on your hard drive (here I will copy all the files to C:win2k).

In fact, you only need files in the i386 directory, but if you want to burn a fully functional CD, copying all the files is the best option.

If you have sp2.exe, you need to open it with WinZip. Unzip the file into a directory (I use C:sp2).

It creates a directory i386. If you have a Microsoft SP2 CD and your files have been unzipped, here is what you should do (reconfirm that you have unzipped SP2 to C:sp2 and have copied the entire Win2K CD to C:win2k)

Enter the Command Prompt window (note that you must integrate SP2 under Win2K). Type "c:sp2i386updateupdate /s:c:win2k" and check it.

A window will pop up showing the current progress until it is complete.

That's it! You can now install Win2K from C:win2k and it has integrated SP2.
