Remove the login interface of Windwos 2000 system

After reading a virus prevention article, I set a password for the administrator account. But now I have a dialog box when I log in. I don't think it's inconvenient, but my father's input of English is more difficult. I want to ask Long Ge, is there any way to remove this dialog box? The operating system is Windwos 2000.

If you are using Windwos 2000 Professional, go directly to the "User Account" of "Control Panel", and then remove the "You must enter your username and password to log in to this machine" dialog box. Successfully removed the login dialog.

But this method is not valid for the Server version of the Windows 2000 operating system, the only way to do this is to modify it in the registry. In the "Start" → "Run" menu, enter "Regedit" for the editor, expand to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrent VersionWinLogon, and then create a double-byte key value, the value item is "AutoAdminLogon", a value of 1 means that the automatic login function is enabled, the value A 0 or a value item does not exist to indicate that the automatic login function is not used. Then modify the value of the string value item "DefaultDomainName" to the default domain name. If the machine is not in the domain, that is, a single machine hits the environment, the value of the value item is the name of the computer. Finally, the value of the string value item "DefaultPassword" is modified to the default password, and the restart is made to take effect. This method can be used with all versions of Windows 2000, including Windows XP.
