Microsoft's approved three methods of Vista SP1 uninstallation

  

Vista SP1 is the "Ten Quan Da Pill" that many Vista users are eagerly awaiting. Even many users are waiting for SP1 to be officially launched and then upgrade from XP to Vista. But the facts are not perfect, and many users have had some annoying problems after upgrading to SP1. Microsoft then gave an official solution on the website for those who wish to uninstall SP1. There are three ways to uninstall Vista SP1 that are recognized by Microsoft: Adding a Remover This method uses the traditional Control Panel - Add Remover feature. The simple method is: 1. Click Start, type Appwiz.cpl in the search box, select The program that appears in the program list. 2. On the Add Remove Programs page that opens, select View Installed Updates on the left. 3. Select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330) and click Remove. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall process. Offline System Restore This method requires a Vista installation disk by: 1. Starting the computer from the Vista installation disk. 2. Select the installation language, time and currency format, keyboard, and input method. 3. Select Repair your computer. 4. Select System Restore. 5. Select the corresponding restore point, which should be named: Install Windows Update or install Vista Service Pack 1. 6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the restore process and reboot.
Vista system restore This method does not require an installation disk, using Vista's system restore function, but must ensure that at least one reboot after Vista SP1 installation. The easy way is: 1. Click Start, type rstrui in the search box, and select the program that appears in the program list. 2. To enter an administrator password, enter and continue. 3. In the System Restore program, select the desired restore point, such as installing Windows Update or installing Vista Service Pack 1. 4. Follow the prompts to complete the restore process.
Microsoft said that deleting SP1 will not affect the user's personal files, and will not leave any junk. Therefore, it is safe to use these three methods to delete SP1. When the Chinese version of SP1 is officially released next month, you can also record these three methods in case of any eventuality.
